We Americans use approximately 40 million coffee pods every day and that number is growing! Unfortunately, the majority of those used pods end up in our landfills, causing two very significant environmental problems that can be eliminated with a few seconds of time using the Kut-A-Pod Recycler!

The Kut-A-Pod is the only K-Cup® recycling tool with replaceable blade cartridges. You keep the tool body and just replace the blade cartridge. All blade cartridges are made from plant-based biodegradable material and each blade cartridge will cut and separate 750 used pods for recycling, eliminating approximately 3 pounds of recyclable plastic from entering our landfills. The Kut-A-Pod is more than twice as cost effective to use than the disposable cutters available and by far the most environmentally friendly.

The Kut-A-Pod is designed to allow you to either cut just the plastic shell for recycling to help with our plastic pollution problem and keep the coffee grounds and filter intact and attached to the top of the pod for disposal, or completely and efficiently cut both the plastic shell and the paper filter containing the coffee grounds at the same time for recycling the plastic shell and composting the used coffee grounds or placing them in your food waste container, helping with plastic pollution and climate changing Methane gas production.
