Directions for Use
Kut-a-Pod Recycler

1. Place coffee pod in opening on top.
Snap front of pod under tab on top of tool body and rotate pod slightly to make sure it’s securely under tab.

2. Push thumb piece of spring-loaded blade cartridge forward to indicators on thumb piece and tool body to start cut. 

3. While keeping tension on thumb piece, rotate pod counterclockwise one full revolution.

4. Release thumb piece so blade retracts and gently pull down on bottom of pod to release plastic cup Rinse empty plastic pod and place in recycling bin.

The Kut-a-Pod allows variable cutting depths for differences in pod manufacturers and allows you to either just cut and release plastic or fully cut plastic and filter to use grounds for composting. Each cartridge yields 750+ cuts.

Cartridge Replacement

Instructions for replacing blade cartridge:

1. Turn tool body over.

2. Locate screw in body, unscrew and remove.

3. Carefully remove cartridge from body.

4. Insert new cartridge at 45 degree angle, push into position.

5. Replace screw, gently tighten. Do not over tighten screw.

6. You are now ready to cut another 750 + coffee pods.
